Bet Elazraki Children's Home - Netanya, Israel

EMUNAH Bet Elazraki Children’s Home is home to 180 children from the ages of 4 to 18 years old. The children come from dysfunctional families and cannot be raised by their parents due to violence in the home, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, mental illness, abandonment and a combination of all of the above. The children are placed there by the Ministry of Social Services, some by social workers who feel that Bet Elazraki offers the best chance of breaking the cycle of distress, and some are even brought in by the police.

The ultimate goal of Bet Elazraki Children’s Home is to help each child who is brought there to become an emotionally and physically healthy young adult who is prepared to function and be a productive member of society. The objective is to shatter the vicious cycle of distress so they will be the last in their family to need residential placement.
